Himani Kapoor biography
Himani Kapoor (Hindi : हिमानी कपूर) is an Indian singer and finalist of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2005. She also hosted a show with Karan Oberoi on Zee TV called “Antakshari”. She also competed in Star Plus’s Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar.
Himani Kapoor is the hottest vocal sensation in tinsel town. She is a young musician and vocalist who has already managed to create a place for herself in the music scene.
She debuted into the limelight as the only female contestant on Saregamapa 2005 who inspite of not winning the title was remembered and appreciated the most sheerly for her vocal style, ability and her attitude.
Himani has sung quite a few songs for Bollywood including the hit Jogi Mahi from Bachna Ae Haseeno. She hosted “Antakshari” (Zee) with Sunil Pal and Karan Oberoi for one year. In one of her Antakshari shows, she made veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan sing along with her. In 2004, Himani bagged the first prize in devotional song competition organised by Shri Mata Viashno Devi shrine board.

She also competed in a show called Music Ka Maha Muqqabla on Star plus as Mika ki Sherni. She completed her world tour with Himesh Reshammiya in 2007 and has performed in 20 different countries.
She has sung in Dil Diya Hai, Aap Ki Khatir, Chingari, Bachna Ae Haseeno, Fool N Final, Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! and Band Baaja Baaraat.
Himani received an award from the government of Haryana by chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on women’s day in year 2008. She released a song dedicated to Indira Gandhi on the occasion of women’s day in 2010.
